Circuit Board Cleaner
Chemtools® KleaniumTM Circuit Board Cleaner is formulated to be a very efficient bench-top flux remover. This
popular formula has a pleasant smell and is ideal for removing no-clean fluxes and lead-free fluxes, and will
quickly rinse dirt, moisture, and dust from electronic Printed Circuit Boards.
CBC leaves no residues and is non-corrosive and compatible with most rubbers and plastics. It also exhibits rapid
cleaning of a variety of soils such as waxes, oils, and greases. It is suitable for use on Printed Circuit Boards, tape
heads, optical and precision instruments, motors, dies, bearings, and air tools.

APPLICATION METHODS:
Apply by spraying onto the area to be cleaned. If the residues are stubborn, brushing may be required, followed
by rinsing.
CBC is available in various sizes for immersion cleaning, or filling pump bottles for use with brushes or foam
tipped buds. It may also be used in ultrasonic tanks that are adapted for flammable liquids.

CBC is harmless to most plastics, elastomers, and rubbers. Test before use on sensitive plastics and rubbers such
as ABS, acrylics, and polycarbonates. Use only in a well-ventilated area.

STORAGE:
Store in a cool, dry place, in tightly closed original containers, at a room temperature of between 5°C to 30°C. Do
not place in direct sunlight or near any heat source. Do not return any used material to its original container.
SAFETY:
Do not spray aerosol near eyes or face. Do not spray near a naked flame or any hot surface, and keep away from
sources of ignition – no smoking. Keep out of reach of children. Extremely flammable. Protect pressurised
dispenser from sunlight and do not expose it to temperatures exceeding 50°C. Do not leave in car interiors.
Do not pierce or burn even after use. Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating or inhaling contents may
be harmful or fatal.
PRECAUTIONS:
This product is capable of producing adverse health effects ranging from minor skin irritation to serious systemic
effects. None of these materials should be used, stored, or transported until the handling precautions and
recommendations as stated in the Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for this and all other products being used are
understood by all persons who will work with the material.
